Pizza Night 2012

The club is pleased to announce that we will again be holding a Pizza Night on the Foundation Day public holiday, Monday 4th June 2012. Pizza will be served at 6:45pm, with the usual badminton session following from 7:30pm onwards.
We will cater just over half a pizza (5 slices) for each attendee. There will also be soft drinks for everyone to share. All costs for members will be fully subsidised by the club. Non members can join in for $6.

Easter Monday Session

The club will be open as usual during the Easter Monday, April 9. We'll also be holding our customary Easter Raffle of some chocolate goodies around 9:30pm for members only.
The club would also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and happy Easter.
Power Outage

The club would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the power outage that occured shortly after 7:30pm tonight (April 2). The Jim Satchell Community Recreation Centre and surrounding streets were affected.
Play was suspended on the hope that power would soon be restored. Unfortunately with the latest Western Power advisory indicating a restoration time of 2:30am, the decision was made to cancel the session at around 8:15pm.
With more people arriving after the cancellation, another decision was made to hold a short 1 hour session at the Kingsway Indoor Stadium from 9:00 to 10:00pm.
The session then continued from 10:30pm at our home court when we were advised that power had been restored to the centre.
Again our apologies to all our players who made the trip and those who we were unable to contact. Also a big thank you to all the members who helped spread the word.
Labour Day Session

Visiting Coach

The Head Coach of the Bendigo Bank Academy of Sports will be joining us for a hit tomorrow night (Feb 6) and maybe the following session. Feel free to ask him any questions! If there is anything you'd like covered, let us know. We may get him to spend a few minutes covering it.
Scheduled Court Maintenance

We have been advised that the courts at Jim Satchell Community Recreation Centre will be undergoing maintenance work this weekend. Our regular session on January 23 will not be affected.
The maintenance work will commence on January 21 and should be completed by 3pm Monday, January 23. We recommend that you check back here prior to attending the session in case there are last minute changes.
Memberships for 2012

Membership renewals for 2012 will be collected next year during the month of January. All current memberships will expire on the 31st of January 2012. Members are encouraged to renew their membership at their earliest convenience.
New memberships will be accepted from February onwards. New memberships are open to all existing players at the club, including those who have been invited to the club.

The club is pleased to announce that we'll be open throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays. As with last year, both public holidays fall on consecutive Monday nights as follows:
- 26th December 2011 - Boxing Day
- 2nd January 2012 - New Year's Day Holiday
