Welcome! The Satellite Badminton Club is a social badminton club that meets weekly every Monday night. Our mission is to provide a fun and friendly environment for players of all levels.

New players must register The club is currently invitation only. If you are interested in playing at the club, please register for an invite. You'll be added to our waiting list and subsequently invited once we can accept more players.

We're Back! The Jim Satchell Recreation Centre located on Light Street Dianella, has been home to the club since 1995. The centre re-opened in late July 2015 after a year of refurbishments.

Shuttles are provided To enhance your playing experience, we use tournament grade feather shuttlecocks.

Bring your own racquet Loan racquets are available upon request. If you intend on playing on a regular basis, we recommend you invest in your own racquet.

To help keep waiting times down and ensure attendances are kept to manageable levels, all new and past players must first register before visiting the club. Please do not attend until you receive your invitation. This includes players who simply wish to try out the club, as well as those who would like to become a member.

Visitor Fee Increase for 2018

Due to increases in court hire fees, the club regrets to inform players that the session fees will increase by $1 for visitors. From 2018, the session fee for visitors will be $9. The last increase was 3 years ago.
