Jim Satchell Community Centre
Located on Light Street, Dianella. The venue offers four badminton courts with timber parquetry flooring.
There is plenty of free parking bays on-site.
As the car park can be quite dimly lit during the night, players should ensure their vehicle and all valuables are secured when leaving their vehicle. Please also report any suspicious activity to the organiser.
You can enter via the double sliding doors and through the kitchen door on your right. Alternatively, the kitchen is also accessible via the bin storeroom (the metal white gates).
It is possible to arrive by public transport, but you should check the Transperth website to plan your journey as there are limited services at night.
Dianella is approximately 9 kilometres north of the Perth CBD (Central Business District) and is surrounded by the suburbs of Bedford, Inglewood, Mirrabooka, Morley, Nollamara, Noranda, and Yokine.
If you are unfamiliar with the area, we recommend you acquaint yourself with the directions for the journey beforehand. The centre can be difficult to locate at night as it’s location is not on a main road.
Whilst most of our players live near the area, some players come from up to 55 kilometers away.
The record for the longest distance travelled just to play at the club is 80 kilometres from Gingin. That’s not including the return trip!
