From 5 December 2020, sporting venues are required to maintain a register for contact tracing.
We have been advised by the City of Stirling that all users entering the Jim Satchell Recreation Centre must check in using the SafeWA mobile app.
To get everyone playing badminton as quickly as possible, we recommend everyone download and set up the app before attending.
1. Download
Download the SafeWA app for your mobile phone.
2. Setup
- Open the SafeWA app
- Click Create Account
- Tap the individual icon
- Enter your information
- Create a password
- Enter the security PIN sent via SMS to verify your account
3. Check In
When arriving at the club:
- Open the SafeWA app
- Scan the QR code displayed at the Jim Satchell Recreation Centre
- Show the organiser your completed check in screen
- Pay your session fee as normally would
Can't Use the App?
If you don’t have access to the SafeWA app, you must enter your details in a paper contact register. Completed entries will be dropped into the centre’s locked box at the end of the session. The City of Stirling will regularly collect and store them securely for the mandated period of 28 days.
